horseface2721, I forgot to mention I am a Newbie to sports betting, so I apoligize If I sound like a dumbass. I went to Vegas Insider like you suggested to get the 1st half and 2nd half results for games already played. But I was only able to see todays games 1st half (Odds/Lines), Please walk me thru, how I can look up yesterdays (1-18-12) 1st half and 2nd half results I would like to be able to see how teams are playing 1st half results and 2nd half results prior to making my Bets.

What you should do is look at the closing spread on covers.com and look for the first and second half totals and divide the spread in half. So if it's -6 For the game, then see if they covered -3 for the first half

COMMENTS: WAS considered one of the worst teams in the NBA just knocked off one of the best teams in the NBA, OKC and hope this same team shows up tonight. This series could easily be a no play when I was setting up the schedule for Jan. I hope it does not bite me in the rear with NY being the last game of the series. Looking at WAS at home this season….played 8 home games and have covered 8 of 16 halves but has covered at least one half 6 of 8 games for 75%. Looking at Bos….the comments of Danny Ainge may motivate the team tonight to cover at least one half. GOOD LUCK!
