PHX has run out of gas. They're only a .500 club in the past month. They've been paying the price for their lack of depth. Marion has said several times how tired he is.
Meanwhile, Phil Jackson has figured out the Suns, by attacking the basket (like everyone else against the Suns without Kurt Thomas), slowing the game down, and using Kobe as a true leader for the first time in the season. With Brian Grant conveniently out for the first two games because of food poisoning, the Suns had only Tim Thomas as 'big' man, and obviously the team with less depth gets into foul trouble more easily (which opens up the path to the basket even more). If the Suns can't find their extra gear, they could be history. - - No play.Comment
