Japan-China Over 153 [-115]
Japan could not match the physical play of Philippines, giving up 83 last time out. China is probably more physical, so tough seeing them being totally slowed down here. Japan will rely on their jump shooters to keep them in this one and they have to keep the tempo quick to have a shot. I can't see China getting less than 80 here and they may approach 90 again. That would leave Japan with not much work to get this over.Comment -
Guys, I am going to advocate on these totals to wait until very close to tip-off to see where the line moves go. They have almost ALWAYS gone AGAINST the actual outcome. I noticed China-Japan rose to 154.5 right before tip and it's definitely finishing UNDER.
Like last night, I would have flipped my pick if I hadn't already booked this one. Live & learn. This is not a 100% guarantee, but I have noticed this quite a bit in these FIBA tournaments. Big moves on the total generally work out for the opposite side!Comment -

Looking at this one tonight. With UAE, always favor the over first as they played some of the worst defense in this competition. They have not allowed less than 75 points and 80+ in four straight. Total opened at 152. Already up to 153.5. Going to watch this and see how my theory works tonight. Suggesting again to watch the # up until about five minutes to tip and see where the line goes and go OPPOSITE the public movement. So right now, that would be UNDER. The Ninja will bite on the big line for the hosts. With the shocking loss for Iran, China now must really believe itself in the driver's seat to London. Big # here, but both give up a ton of points. The 1st meeting between the two ended at 155. Uzbekistan has given up 100 or more in four of their last five. Malaysia shot 50% against them the 1st time out and should be able to get some things done as they have proven worthy against poor defenses with 80 against the Uzbekis and 87 last time against UAE.Comment -
