The Sky scored one point in the fourth quarter
They were outscored 16-1 in the fourth quarter by a so-so defensive team in the Liberty. How can you cap this shit? These players are incredibly unpredictable because they are both bad and frequently corrupt imho. If the corrupt label shocks you, the Sky scored 22 points with a fluid consistent offense in the third quarter then one point and no field goals in the fourth? If this was middle school level women's basketball I'd say that's possible naturally but not professional athletes.

To be honest, Sky scoring 22 in 3Q surprised me more than scoring 1 in 4Q.

The only WNBA player that I think is good is Maya Moore. The rest of these girls are godawful, just frequently tossing up airballs or passing to nobody or blowing lay ups or dribbling off their foot. It's painful to watch.

The Sky average 75.5 points per game. That's 18.9 per quarter. Will someone who's good at stats figure out the odds of them scoring one point in a quarter based on that?

It's probably less than a 1% chance. Meanwhile the Liberty play an up tempo game and they allow 78.2 points per game (19.55 per quarter) so your comment is beyond ridiculous.

You're not getting my point, but anyways, if they actually average 19 points, it's a little better than 1 in 10 million they score 1.

Maya Moore? How'd she do tonight? She just catches the ball and shoots it hoping it will go in without any form or follow through. They all miss uncontested wide open layups and turn the ball over too frequently. This is a joke sport with women that are no better than high school players or after school pick up game players.

I remember the Warriors scoring 2 points in the 4th against the Raptors years back and they ended up losing the game in OT lol.

You're right. Things have changed this year and I can't put my finger on exactly what the problem is.

The "15 years" marketing push seems to have put a lot of pressure on the WNBA. They're losing money & trying to make it more corporate/professional to grow the brand. But a lot of teams are struggling to sell more tickets & grab sponsors. They're trying to ape the NBA but the talent pool isn't deep enough & most people don't give a crap about women's sports. It's a lot to take on for the players & maybe that's having an impact on the type of games we're seeing this year.

                        Just my 2 cents.

1 point is pretty bad, how many shots did they take?

lol even a high school team playing vs them would score at least 2pts
