So you are predicting Beasley to be one of the greatest ever and Rose a complete and utter bust? Sorry but it has to be a special set of circumstances for a highly drafted player to be considered the steal of the draft.

And you have to consider expectations of the player when talking about if he was a steal or not, as well. People expect Beasley to be great and many think he should have gone number one. So if he succeeds how does that make him a steal? You make the Heat sound smarter than they are for the pick.
