if Maya Moore's shooting percentage does a backflip from last game, they very well may win... Minnesota sometimes looked helpless on defense against scorching hot Mercury, but this is going to be a game with much slower tempo

I'm curious if Moore's 0-9 three pointers on Wednesday had anything to do with the frenetic pace... if so, she could easily shoot 50% from the field and drop 25-30... not saying Indiana's top two can't match that... but shooting percentages are going to matter a ton today, so I see a 5-7 point win by one of these teams, most likely indiana... it won't be a blowout

and by the way... minnesota was never an elite team... and yet indiana lost to them 3 or 4 years in a row

I didn't say the Lynx can't beat Indiana over the course of a season. Stopping a hot streak like Indiana's current streak is a totally different thing especially on the road.

The only elite team is Phoenix though that could change by the end of the season. Minny is just as good as Indiana. Really depends who is home team.

If the "Defence wins Championships" aphorism is true, then Phoenix isn't elite. I think Minnesota, New York, and Indiana are pretty solid teams. Minnesota has the 3rd best offense and defense in the league right now.
