    Pacers -6 at Atl Hawks
Hawks have won the first three meetings this season over IND.

Last meeting went into overtime and it was Joe Johnson's best game of his career (16-24FG, 5-5 3pt).

Meeting before, Pacers squandered a 10point lead and lost it in the 2nd half. No Peja or Artest playing in that game. Hawks shot lights out, 56%. (pacers are in the top 3 in FG%)

1st meeting: pacers lost by 2, Hawks shot just 35% but squaked by. Artest was deactivated right before this game.

Now today. hawks coming off a loss in charlotte traveling back home to face a rested pacers squad. Pacers finally healthy, and first time the Hawks will have played vs Tinsley, O'neal, and Peja starting the game for Indiana. Am i giving pacers too much credit for thinking they will seek revenge and salvage a game in the season series tonight. They are obviously the better team and I can't see a letdown occuring after the first three losses, the last of which being in their house.

    DH is with you, Gorox.

He sees the value in a 1H play -- guarding against some Pacer fatigue, no doubt.

Me, whether north or south of the border, I have fundamental problems laying that kind of wood on the road in the NBA.

Anything over the key number of 5 makes me jumpy.

Like the over, though -- for the same no-letdown reasons that you see, and because Mike Woodson had a great quote today:

"It's ridiculous. Our commitment to defense is awful," Atlanta coach Mike Woodson said. "We're not even trying to defend."
