It's in and the Laker's take Game 3 of the Best of 7 Series. The series now stands at 2-1 in favor of Boston.
Let me start off by saying please do not bet the money-lines or for that matter the point spreads. There are plenty of ways to make a pretty penny in other ways. For example taking the UNDERS, for the final score. The UNDER for the 1st qtr. is where I make most of my money. And also in the Player Props.
Okay now it was crazy at the staples center, a little less loud than in Boston, but at my staples center we a jammed packed with celeb's that rarely make noise only when their ex-wives sue for alimony. But that's neither here nor there.
I Found It very funny that when Boston doesn't get foul calls their leading scorers do not get points. FUNNY
And while after their 23 game thus far in these 2008 playoffs their PPG AVG from the free throw line didn't drop their attempts AVG dropped a tad bit to 25.9 from 26.3.
Now you may ask why is this important. Well just take away 7 point from the free throw line from game 2 and you come up with a win. With the Celtics not getting to the free throw line in game 3 what does that take away? It takes away a rhythm that a player might gain from being able to knock down a few give Me's. Notice how in the game how it took until the second half for KG to get going. He had his norm in rebounds but his shots were off. The same could be said for everyone with the exception of Ray Allen. Ray found his touch late in the Detroit series and it's hard to lose with him.
Move on to the Bench play we had the upper hand in this match up and thus we gained the much needed points from them that we missed from the first 2 in Bean town. We were more aggressive thus the raised attempts at the free throw line(we need to make them when we get there) sure some were missed, but what do expect they were a lil rusty since the refs didn't give them that many chances the 1st 2 games. The MACHINE(Vujacic) and the BLACK MAMBA(Bryant), were Keys to the Laker victory, so much so the I feel that the MACHINE should get the start over Radmanovic. Then again he is stronger off the bench.
In one final note look for much more of the same game 4, and from a betting stand point I will once again bet the bank on the under in the 1st QTR, it has been good to me the first 3 games.
