Celtics should have won by 30 points the way the Lakers played. They were lucky to escape with a win. Refs took the Lakers out of the game in the 1st half. This cannot even be argued. Even if you're a Celtics fan, you have to admit that the refs clearly gave Boston the game in the 1st half. They took the Lakers out of their game on the defensive end. There was no way LA could have played D and not be called for a touch foul. Refs should have called it both ways and kept it consistent throughout. If the Lakers played all 4 quarters and the refs were more consistent on both ends, LA wins this game easily.

The refs demoralized the Lakers with all the bs calls and clearly gave the momentum to the Celtics. You were damned if you do, damned if you dont with the refs. It was total humilation on behalf of the refs, and yet the lakers STILL almost won!

No worries mundane. No way Powe shoots more FTs than the ENTIRE Laker team again and no way he goes off for 20+ points again. If the Lakers play like they did the last 7:30 of the game, then they should blow out Boston. I'm just hoping they play like that for all 4 quarters, rather than take off a whole half and then decide to play. If you don't want to say the refs clearly took them out of the game as a fan... I will... but the Lakers still played stupid and lazy for basically 2 quarters. They settled for jump shots, they were not aggressive on the offensive end, they played lazy D, they gave up too many offensive rebounds, and for the most part, played with no energy or passion.

Will you stop with the OFFICIALS....Just admit the Lakers got worked by a much better team...Boys, the lakers just arent that good. they've got an average coach who has been at the right place at the right time, and a superstar ball hog and a bunch of soft reserves they call their other starting 4, who should be playing soccer anyway with the way they play, complain and flop...using the officials as a scapegoat is pathetic...they just got out husseled out played by a superior team...C's should win game 3 outright, save your money or take the generous points that ya'lls buddies will continue to push up and slam the book.

ps, that's the best thing that could have happened to the celtics...if they blew out the lakers, they'd cruise into staples and probably drop the first 2 being on their heels...almost blowing it, you'll see a total effort for all 4 quarters

Please stop saying that this game wasnt decided by fouls and every other bullshit call called on the lakers cause clearly it was. Lakers took 10 free throws, not to add they made all 10, while the Celtics took 38. HMMMMM does that say something?? I think so. Tim Donaghy was all over the court. But oh well it is what it is. Lakers will get the sweep at home.
