It's Shawn Marion. He killed Miami down in the low post with that hook shots and great D on the other end.

Just when I thought Marion's career was pretty much over, he came in and had two huge series (OKC and MIA series').

Dallas finally had a legit center in Tyson Chandler, someone who can rebound and play defense. Huge upgrade from worthless Erick Dampier.

Marion and chandler were clearly the difference between this team and the 2006 team.
Also Carlisle deserves some credit for superior coaching in the finals and being one of the only teams to run and master a zone defense.

Agreed. The above 2 guys can certainly hold their heads up high.
Miami couldn't buy their way out of this result...

After game two I told some of my friends that for me Marion is the x-factor in this series.
He had HUGE offensive rebounds and was the man who had many possibilities to get to the rim. It seemed like Miami
didn't cover him.
He was huge throughout the finals
also the toughness chandler, stevenson or cardinal in his few minutes changed the mavs. chandler should have been an AllStar imo

Fishface is right about Carlisle, great coach. Detroit's last title should have been his.
