-Sparks should be a 4-5 favorite in the wnba season opener. I like the sparks +2 to +2.5 in the first half. I also live Minnesota ML as I think they win the season opener. LA swept minnesota in 2010. These teams are goin to be headed in opposite directions. Minnesota will make the playoffs while LA struggles this season.

Phoenix at Seattle
-Storm should be 6-7 favorites. I like the mercury +3.5 to +4 in the first half. I see the mercury playing a close game in the first half and may even have the lead at halftime. Storm swept mercury in 2010. I also like mercury +points for the game. This may be season to go against the storm. Spreads are goin to be inflated for the storm this season.

Any thoughts on the first two games (and first halfs) of the wnba season.

I think this is the right call. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the O/U is probably severely inflated because Phoenix is typically a high-scoring team and Seattle is the defending champ in their league. History shows that these ladies take at least a game or two to shake off the rust. Under sounds like the play.

I see the Sparks are -3 with an O/U of 158. I don't have the Seattle/Phoenix line yet.
