NBA Finals Plays. My Goal: +20 Units

I'm going to use this thread to track my plays for the series and hopefully get some discussion. I will post my thoughts and hope to get some feedback from others. The +20 units is a goal, but I will not chase just to get to that "magic" number. There will likely be a game in the series that I really like and make a big play but most will be medium or smaller plays. Obviously first a foremost I need to be in the positive and then go from there.

Tonight, my initial lean was Dallas but I'm thinking that Miami is the play now. They will try to set the tone for the series by playing some great defense and getting out in transition. Nothing gets that place crazier than a great defensive play and a vintage Lebron/Wade fast break. Although Dallas had success during regular season, both teams have changed.

I see Miami winning and covering tonight and Dallas taking Game 2. If Miami goes up 2-0, there is no doubt in my mind that the Mavs will take Game 3.

Leaning Dallas in Game 2. Really good chance they win this game. They committed way too many unforced errors in the fourth quarter tonight and it cost them. What Miami did in the series against Boston and Chicago during the final quarter was incredible and we saw it again tonight but let's not forget how good Dallas has been down the stretch of games during these playoffs.

Dallas ML is the play. This series should go the distance... Dallas will shoot better in Game 2. I know Dirk has the finger problem but it's on his non-shooting hand. It seemed to me like Dallas was getting decent looks but they got into a lot of trouble when they tried to put the ball on the floor. As a team, they are one of the best passing groups in the league so I expect to see better, crisper ball movement in Game 2.

Mavericks 1st Half is a really good play tonight. They will come out and be sure not to fall behind the 8 ball tonight. I think they win the game and that will take a strong effort from start to finish.

Even so, I feel like this game stays within the number. Miami may come out on top once again but it will come down to the wire.

Miami is the play in Game 3... If they get the win, Dallas should take Game 4.

One thing I do expect is for Dallas to shoot better at home. Even though they won last night, the Mavs were still missing way too many shots that they have been making all playoffs.

Lol all over golden greek. I wish golden greek good luck, not sure how that is all over him. As for sweetjones, he's going around saying that he went 20-5 during the month of may which is a big fukkin lie because he went 11-6. The guy is so full of himself it's not even funny.

I'd like to say Dallas takes game 4, but it really depends on them making a ton more shots than Miami, they are being outplayed in the series right now pretty badly offensively and defensively.

Tonight is Lebron's statement game. Dallas has the ability to play well in spurts but I expect Miami to adjust mentally for this game. They let the momentum shift to the Mavs in the fourth quarter by playing erratically on offense in Game 4. I expect them to utilize James more in the post and from about 18 feet out so that he can use his ability to either take the defender off the dribble, back down and use his fade away that he has developed, or find either a slasher like Wade or a man on the perimeter like Chalmers.

Sounds good in theory but I've noticed that LBJ is not comfortable in the post with his back to the basket.

Spoelstra was planning for Lebron James to become dominant in the post as his "Coach of the Year" moment. Unfortunately, Lebron doesn't really like doing this, and ends up facing up or kicking it back out. I see the potential due to Lebraaawn's size.
