I don't really know what the rule is? Or if there is one? It's suppose to be MVP of the Series. I was just suggesting... Dirk could help the Mavs take it to a game 7 with poor scoring from his teammates... and have a down to the wire Game 7... Miami edges Dallas... why wouldn't the award go to Dirk? Especially if it's even scoring with D-Wade and King James. It's a long shot... I was just suggesting.
Also... from the initial post of Dirk +200. Seems like all the books have figured out everyones game plan.... now the best odds on Dirk are at +160
It's not a 'rule' but only once in history has the finals MVP played for the losing team and that was Jerry West in 1969.
