The Oklahoma City Thunder in a nutshell . . .
The okc thunder are a great basketball team, but i predict they will never reach the Finals. West Conf Finals is as far as this team constructed can go, eventually we'll see a rip between Durant and Westbrook, mainly Durant's ego. But this team will always be one short of getting there. Yes, they're that kind of team, almost but no cigar.

You may ultimately be right, but since they are so young and have been growing the last couple of years, I am willing to give them a chance. Time will tell.

          In a word.... disappointing...
Had Dallas on the ropes and let them back in. Could have easily been 2 all but as the next one is in Dallas that's most likely it for the series...

They really need more athletes on the front line.... it makes guarding them in the halfcourt easy. Perkins, Ibaka, Collison all are very limited offensively.
You can get by with one but not two on the court.

There is a reason Miami doesn't play Anthony, Dampier, Igaulkus together

They remind me alot of the Phoenix suns under D'Antoni. Win alot of games get to the WCF, and then lose to a better team. Yet the Thunder have only did this once, i think this is how it'll play out in the next few years.

32 teams cannot win the title, the best team wins. They are not the best team, never were. Playoffs are different than the regular season, way different.

I just begun pondering and I thought of this cool matchup

Who would win in a 7 game series..

The Phoenix suns with Joe Johnson vs. this OKC Thunder team?

I'm going PHX with Joe Johnson year. I still believe if Joe didnt get hurt, they would of beat the Spurs. What do you guys think?

They are done. Two really ugly losses at home and there will be no recovery.

Really disappointed with OKC. Big time choke.

I think its Westbrooks ego not Durants that will be their undoing. They need to find a better mix in their starting lineup. Outside of Durant and Westbrook none of the other three are scores, Perk, Serg, Thabo. Brooks also needs to totally re-tool the offensive scheme. It basically looks like a rec league game out there for OKC at the end of games.

it's durant's poor shooting under late pressure; and westbrook is not a closer and a little bit spastic. but they rebound and guard well, too bad ibaka and collison are not bigger like the miami bigs.

They're a young team, reliant on 2 players and only just brought in players like Perkins. With teams like the Lakers losing their edge there's planety of reasons why they will do better next year.

I'm not worried about them. I think we'll see them in the finals in the next couple years.

They're a young team w/ cap space. De[ends on what they bring in. Their a solid team now & that one key player that they enevitable get might be the one to take them over the top. Too early to claim they never make finals.
