yea but he hung around too long past his prime. definitely one of the best players to ever play the game... but a lot of people might have the image tainted because they remember the old shaq not the shaq in his 20s. Boston isn't playing him.. partly because calf injury but i bet it was just because Doc didn't like what he saw out of him. put miami at the line every trip down because he cant defend without fouling.
