Roag, early in the season (even before) you mentioned that in previous years the ladies foul early even with no chance to win. It doesn't seem to be that way this year. Have you taken that into consideration when playing totals?

Just thinking about last weeks loss because they scored 1 point in the last 2 minutes and todays win (mine) because they scored 3 points in the last 2 minutes

Ok.Anybody betting on the Stars/Sparks game? I think over is good on this game.However.The Stars has been sucky!

About 15 minutes ago there was over 65% on the under; a lot of over money came in right at the end. Remember this is data mined from sportsbook.com but other than a pay service it's the only free one out there. Pregame doesn't have public % numbers for WNBA.

You couldn't get much consensus on public percentages on this game.

SI had it all over the place, but never more than 53% on the under, closing at 41%. WNBA numbers can be pretty wack though.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the WNBA this year; the quality of the basketball has gone up (except for Tulsa!). I guess with the last couple of year's crops of college players the talent level has really been raised across the league. And don't forget some key stars are out (Lauren Jackson for Seattle, Lyttle for Atlanta, Parker for the Sparks to name just 3).

Overall scoring is up and that's why totals have been hard to call to start the season. The past few seasons you'd see totals in the 130's regularly (especially with Seattle and Indiana), but now a 143-145 total is REALLY low. Look at the Seattle game today, opened at 144.5 closed at 145 and went over. A strange season to say the least but there's still time to make money.

Plenty of time...from now all the way to around mid-October if you include the playoffs. Much like in the NBA, I am expecting to do quite well in WNBA playoffs.

I have the average game total to be around 160 this year...no clue what it's been in the past. In comparison the NBA hovers around 199.
