Who is the better shooter Ray Allen or Dirk Nowitzki

Pure shooting is definetely Ray Allen. The guy rarely misses open threes. I barely see Dirk hits threes. Dirk hit tougher shots, but doesn't have the purer shot.

No one is saying Dirk is a bad shooter. He's one of the greatest ever, and a true offensive weapon. He is NOT a better shooter than Ray. See that vid I posted for amazing info on Ray. He's almost literally a machine.

Yea but the fact that it is even a debate that a PF can be compared to the likes of a first ballot HOF shooting guard like Ray Allen speaks volumes to Dirk's accomplishments and skill level. I mean Ray Allen's whole M.O. is catch and shoot....Dirk scores in all sorts of ways. Plus look how big he is and he is still nimble.

Versatility wise Dirk clearly has the edge.

You saying that Dirk having the best shot ever is ludicrous. I could care less about Dirks ability to score in other ways or his size, the point of the agreement is you saying that Dirk has the better "JUMP SHOT" then Allen. Yes, I agree that Dirk is better at scoring in verity of ways but at the same time disagreeing that Dirk has the better jump shot.

Ray Allen is a way better SHOOTER. Dirk can score in a multitude of ways and may be a better SCORER, but that's not what we're debating here.
