NBA Sunday
(using league rankings from before today's games, which involved none of these teams other than MIA/CHI)
CLE (#15) by 2.7 over LAX (#12)
IND (#11) by 4.4 over BOS (#16)
DAL (#3) by 1.3 over NJ (#18)
ORL (#17) by 0.3 over ATL (#28)
WAS (#8) by 4.9 over CHI (#20)
SAC (#2) by 2.9 over MIN (#23)
MEM (#4) by 10.2 over UTH (#27)
GS (#24) by 2.5 over PHI (#21)
NY (#14) by 1.6 over MIA(#9)
i am on the opposite side here Rich, if not for the possible injury absentees (Van Horn, Griffin, Harris, Howard), then DAL have played two more games in the last 10 days than NJ. NJ has solid defense, +6.4 last five games, not much difference in stat average between these two, i would pass if i had to, but wouldn't play Dal here. The chase with SA your reasoning?
Noone likes NJ? Well, guys give me some reasoning pls. NJ is very solid at home.

I am thinking about Dallas also. I think NJ's 4 game
winning streak is over-rated. Look who they beat?
Hornets(8 game losing streak season is about done),
Rockets(W/O Mcgrady),Portland (Portland),and
they barely beat the Lakers by 3. They are a streaky
team that can never be trusted and Dallas is
solid winning 52 games. spread is only -1.5?

Yep, IMG you're right about that.
Anyway maybe it's a gut feeling, but i can't get this out of my head...DAL lost in last ten games only to Phx at home and SA and Sacto away, so they beat any opposition outside the really top teams at the moment. Before that lost only one in 20 at Denver. Lost 4 in last 30 games, wow. NOW, shouldn't they lose one game to a lesser team, NJ at home isn't perfect for that?

Wouldn't surprise me! You would think no one
wants to play a more focused UCONN team. Uconn
will not sleep thru the 1st half against UK. Also
UK sucks to me. DD win is very possible!

I know Dallas wants that number one seed bad...they know their whole season is a waste if SA winds up with home court advantage. Everybody is looking to rest guys at this stage and as soon as I see them actually doing it I will pull the plug on the regular season. Yesterday Denver was a 5pt dog and I think the reasoning was that they had been on the road a long time and this was a get away game and they would just call it in and instead they kicked the crap out of Nookie. Same thing last night with SA...the B2B factor got the sharps backing Houston and as you saw it was not a factor at all. My play is based on real simple reasoning...Dallas is a better team and they only need to win by 2pts.
Favorites started covering a little more yestersday and I think that will continue today. The cream is starting to rise to the top...the lower seeds that have survived so far are going to run out of steam.

-1.5 at Pinny and -1 at Chris....line definately dropping...just think public is waking up and grabbing the points...remember NJ and NY get a lot of action...lots of degenerate gamblers concentrated on the east coast.

LA +7 for the second half? Looks good to me. LA is shooting lights out (64%) but the Cavs are respectable at 48%. LA outrebounding too. I'm new to betting halves but this # looks good. Thoughts?

Very nice hit adriano, for being the only one on the Nets in here it looks like. That gut feeling served you right today. Great job.
That -2 for the Mavs looked like a trap, and it turned out to be.

Excuse me for being little bitter right now but I lost a game the other night where bigboydan and a "bad feeling" about something and today I lose a game where Adriano had a "gut feeling". Maybe I need to start becoming more aware of what my upper and lower intestines are feeling than using my brain.
