Oklahoma City won in a must-win game last night but when the series heads to Memphis, the Grizz will get back on track. Grizzlies or no play for me.

More like the Thunder got back on track...if OKC brings the same intensity in the paint and on the boards as last night, they will win easily. OKC is simply a much better shooting team, and Memphis can't match that. Z-Bo will have to go insane again for Memphis to win.

I like the Grizzlies -3.5 at home here.... They can hang with OKC and they play well at home

Thunder are too much of a perimeter-oriented team. They might still win this series and if i had to pick, i'd say they will. But the Grizzlies are a much more well-rounded team. The Thunder will do what they did last night from time to time because that's how it goes for teams that shoot so much from the outside.

Leaning Grizz as well. Really like how their bench has played vs. OKC's bench.

Just booked Grizz -2.5 (-109) at Pinnacle.
Looking at the line movement since release, the Grizzlies received the early love (in the first hour) on both the ML and spread, but since then the Thunder line has been dropping for 3 days without really reaching equilibrium (at Pinnacle & Greek). This is abnormal and not a good sign for Thunder backers.
When a line doesn't reach equilibrium and the betting %s are lopsided, it means the market is content with the bet distribution. They're not concerned about the Thunder getting 3 points. If late money hammers the Grizzlies I'll be 95% convinced that Memphis wins this game. But you know... it's the NBA so some magic might happen.

SK, do you think sbr odds is accurate as far as the pinnacle line movement? It says pinny opened at 4, then dropped to 3.5. Meanwhile, shops such as the Greek and 5Dimes opened at 3 and went up to 3.5 before coming back to 3.

It was never 4. It opened at The Greek at 3, moved to 3.5 because Bookmaker was at 3.5, and then opened at Pinnacle at 3.5 half an hour after the Greek/BM openers. Since then the movement has been one way.

Line has dropped to 2.5 at pinnacle. Not a good sign for memphis backers but the ML hasn't moved since the spread dropped...

We'll see how it closes. I kind of doubt that there's big late money coming in on the Thunder at the worst line that's been available all week.
