Can anyone talk me out of Grizz +9.5??
At my site, you can buy up to 3 points either way.... Someone tell me why I shouldn't bet Memphis +9.5 -170 at OKC tonight? I think OKC wins, but not by double digits right?

You may be right, but I have had games where I won the bet BECAUSE I bought the points. I do expect OKC to win tonight. That being said, if they are up by 4 or 5 at the end of the game, then Memphis fouls them and they go up 6 or 7... thats the difference between a W or L (betting-wise). The more points the better this time of the year.Comment -
buying points is throwing your money away. but if you feel safer at 9.5 than 6.5 maybe its worth it for peace of mind.

Why would buying points be a waste? It's safer so why not, its all about winning. Mempis play better team basketball but OKC are desperate to win this game and that can be the difference.Comment -
