Tonight is the night... the C's with their backs to the wall in a must win Game 3.

I've been waiting for this game since 5/1. Once again, the Heat are the play here. Miami's defense will be the key tonight, and we will see a frustrated Celtics team not being able to get it done on their home court. Rondo hasn't been himself in this series, and the Perkins trade really buried this team for winning a championship this year. I remember Boston's reaction to the trade... they knew what the implications would be down the stretch. I've been very impressed at the attention to detail by Wade and Lebron on defense. They've put the focus on the defensive end this series, and it's payed dividends. This is the play of the night. Lock it down and let's get paid.

and I just don't get how Perkins trade buried Boston's chances of championship? I thought Boston's chances of championship was more about the health of big 3 and rondo going into playoff. plus they get Nenad Kristic and Jeff Green back, don't they? you could argue it's not a stellar trade but bury the chances? i just find it a bit too strong of a word
