I don't think anyone can argue this statement:

Zach Randolph is the second best big man in the NBA (only to Dwight Howard).

You could maybe make an argument for Dirk, but IMO Zbo is better than Dirk.

Agreed...he near singlehandedly won it for Memphis from the point they were down 80-79. Just dominating.

Sorry he is not the 2nd best big man in the league....he has had a great series but will need to consistently dominate games in the future to be in the conversation for an elite big man. He plays as more of a small forward anyways.

People overlook Zbo a lot, but 2nd best big man in the league to Dwight Howard is not far-fetched. The only other guys that may be better than him are Amare, Dirk, Gasol, and Aldridge.

ZBO finished 3rd in rebounding only behind Dwight Howard and and Kevin Love. He was 9th in PPG among PF's and Centers.

He rebounds better than Dirk, Amare, Gasol, and Aldridge. He scores nearly the same as those guys too. Amare scores 5 ppg more, but he also plays on an offense that has more offensive possessions than any other team in the NBA. And I know ZBo doesn't play the best defense, but neither does Dirk, Amare, or Aldridge.

z-bo is incredible. top ten or not, whatever. almost every shot he makes in the paint could be called an and-one, and he gets very few calls. and guess what. he never complains. my favorite grizzlie of all time. pays handfull of folks' light bills in the coldest months because as he says that's where he came from and he wants to give back. not many people give back directly like that.

20 and 10 no matter who they're playing. plays his ass off every night.

z-bo has some bad reputation for not trying enough on the defensive end when he was on the knicks and portland. Now he seems to have put it to another level, takes more responsibility. He showed he deserves that big extension .
