my original take was celtics vs lakers . i stick with my lakers pick but am a little concerned about boston making it . is very tough to see . i dont see celtics making it now . they should have never got ray allen . better to use a pure role player in that mix , not a gunner / bricker that thinks he's a star .
maybe he is just a sellout and will turn it on , that would be about par for the course huh . (but then just when one guy does pretty good ALL OF THE SUDDEN it is another paul onrdorf or jimmy snuka jumping from the top of the ropes !!!! and missing the guy , ouchhhh , he had to break something , nope ! he's fine . like kobe last night in /wwe or wwfixit just like wrestling like someone else was saying on here . (who was it really that cost the lakers a cover last night besides kobe waiting so long to start playing ? i watched it , i know who it was , do you ? fisher , that mf . dont you love it when a guy misses with a silly looking shot on one end then comes down and fouls a guy on the other end giving the other team 2 easy pts from the ft line , that's a 4 pt swing without even trying (in a one 5 - 10 - 20 sec frame) .
this mo ho allen all of the sudden cant shoot for shi! man no words can describe how disappointing watching this shi! can be . MAYBE IT WILL GET BETTER !

Pistons and Spurs. *
Pistons have the steel balls that the soft Celtics lack.
Spurs have the experience, trickery, and ability to make all the 'right' adjustments during a playoff series.
* Not factoring in Javie, the zebra. Much has been said about home teams winning just about everything during these playoffs. Javie was in action when the Lakers won in Utah and last night when the Pistons won in Boston. Before these two home losses an article was posted on this forum that home teams don't like to see Javie.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
“It‘s giving us absolute delight to watch you and your team die.” - Steve Javie to Heat coach Pat Riley. Javie was fined $1000 by the NBA for this comment.

My thoughts exactly, I Knew the LAKERS are pulling it off, and was concerned about Boston. I told my self the winner of last nights game will win the series in 6 games if it was Detroit and 7 if it was Boston. But as we can see it was the pistons.
I got one thing to say though its not the ref's fault that Ray Allen isn't sinking his shot's (he did OK last night can he keep it up).
It's not the ref's fault that Rondo is making Dumb ass passes, bounce 1's with no shot of making it through, passes with 2 seconds on the Shot clock, not leaving the person receiving it enough time to shoot.
The ref's are not responsible for the so called great pick up of Cassell late in the season for his leadership. Cause the only leadership he is showing is how to look UGLY, and someone better get Perkins, and DAVIS away from him cause they and changing.
I tip my hat to Boston but they are not making adjustments to their game, as well as Detroit is.
The series is not over and this is just my opinion but I just don't see Boston winning a road game and if they do not this series
will be over in 6 games.

Lakers win the championship, I have been saying it all along that they are the best team in the NBA. They are strong in the post, they have shooters, and they have the best coach and the best player in the league. No one is going to beat them in a 7 game series. West is better than the East, it doesn't really matter who wins the Celtics or the Pistons. Kobe is on a mission to prove to people that he doesn't need Shaq to win a championship and at the end of the day he will prove it. End of story. I know many will disagree but I heard it all when Lakers where playing the Jazz. With the way the Celtics are playing on the road I think the only team that would have a chance against the Lakers would be Pistons but even then I don't think they have enough in a 7 game series because Lakers have the Kobe factor.
