Guess the Line: Boston Celtics against Miami Heat Round 2
I'm curious as to what everyone thinks the line for the series is going to be. I like Boston here as I am positive some others do.
Winner gets 2 points and an attaboy.

I think it will be Celtics +170. I also plan on playing that for a moderate play Pre-Game 1, and adding more if the Cs lose game 1.
I just don't think the Heat can hang with the Big 4 in a 7 game series. Wade struggles against Ray Allen on both ends of the floor. Rondo and Jeff Green defend Lebron fairly well. No way can Bosh get the better of KG for the bulk of a 7 game series. Big Z vs Jermaine O'Neil could be an interesting matchup, but with Shaq coming back, that just gives the Cs an even bigger big-man advantage. No one on the Heat can come close to stopping Shaq without picking up fouls.
The Heat's D hasn't been that great since Bibby joined, but they have picked it up in the playoffs. The Cs D is obviously elite, and IMO the best in the league. Look what they did to a highly ranked Knicks offense.
For the Heat to win, they will need at least 2 of their big 3 to go off every night, plus solid bench help. I just don't think they have that in them. Doc is a better coach than Spo, the Big 4 have more experience than the Big 3, and I expect all of that to be exploited. I think Spo will get overwhelmed by the defensive sets that Doc/KG throw at him, and will try to turn it into the Lebron and Wade Show.

The series price is always pretty much ML in game 1. This has been the case in every series so far or very close to it. Heat were favored by 7 points at home vs the Celtics this year in both games. I doubt they will be favored 7 points in the playoffs, probably a -5 favorite. So heat will be right around -180 to -200 and Celtics will be right around +160 to +170

celts will win the series easily. it should be a -110 on both sides, but with the average joe dipshit thinking the heat are the best team ever, miami will likely be around -150. i'll be taking my celtic and okc series winnings and dumping them onto boston.
