I see a lot of San Antonio backers on the forum, thinking that the veteran team, with the experience and great coach, will not go down 1-3 in the series. Why not? It's been said how over-rated this Spurs team is anyway.
I love small point (+2 or less) home dogs. I almost always side with the home dogs getting points and will even play them straight up too. The Grizzlies are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 home games. Plus, Spurs are 0-8 ATS in the last 8 meetings with Memphis.
Memphis has proven that they are going to fight. Granted, they barely won the last home game and Spurs see this one as a must-win, but I have to go with the home team tonight.
I felt like one of a very few here on Dallas -3.5 for game two as well. Seemed like everyone was on Portland. I hope it's the same outcome for this game.
Here's hoping that Tim Duncan gets a big fat "L" for his birthday tonight!
