LA Lakers, Andrew Bynum, has Surgey Wed. 5/21
It was announced today that Andrew Bynum will have knee surgey on wednesday. The same day his team starts the Conference Finals. Reports say he should be ready sometime next season. My Question to you is why in the hell did he not have the surgey when the injury occured?
The Lakers Have seemed to do well with him not in the lineup but I just wonder how much more dominating they could be with him in there. The injury occured during the regular season and for some reason there was a screw up for him not to have that surgey then, He might be ready for the playoffs is what they keeped telling us, and just when I thought he might be coming back in they bull this crap. Now not only is he missing this playoffs cause off the screw up but it puts his status for next season up in the air as well. What are your thoughts?

I've read some people theorize that the Lakers were kind of sabotaging Bynum because they want to pay less than the max on his contract extension. In other words, if Bynum doesn't play for the rest of season, the Lakers might save a lot on Bynum's contract extension. What do you think about that theory?

The doctor that diagnosed his injury in the first place is an idiot. He should have had surgery earlier.

Wow being a season ticket holder that sounds exactly like a Laker move. I rembeer all the championships with them ealr 2000's when Shaq and Kobe were the only 2 players getting paid, The had Malone, Rick Fox, Devon George, and few other players only getting paid like minimum wage. Nice thought rainbow.
But I also think the Dr. was smoking to much of that medical marijauna

Who knows, hes young and looks like the type that can be taken advantage of. Why its happening now at the end of the season is ridiculous. Had MONTHS. Ah well, celtics still would of beat them if they beat the spurs.
