so it seems like a lot of us took a beating today playing the favorites, but i'm pretty confident that lakers will be able to cover the 10 tomorrow. even though they closed out the season like shit, they won't fool around now that the playoffs have started. also, with blake being out due to chicken pox, at least we know he won't **** up the bench play. let's get it!!

LA is too cocky to win by a large margin. They will lead early and then let off the gas. They've personally never struck me as a team that is great at covering double digit spreads. This is a toss up to me. I have them teased down to -2 in an 8 pt teaser with two other games tho.Comment -

the good thing about playing on a day after the start of the playoffs was that lakers hopefully saw how the bulls and heat came out and will realize that they can't do the same. like the person above mentioned though, lakers might let off the gas once they establish a big lead, but that's a chance i'm willing to take especially against a hornets team with no david west. lakers have major size and if they can get bynum and gasol involved early then it should be easier rest of the gameComment -
