The people posting here obviously bet on the games. If the team you bet on loses, the short sighted reaction is to get mad and exaggerate how bad the team is. If the team you bet on wins, the short sighted reaction is to get excited and exaggerate how good the team is. It's a reactionary business and most people are incredibly myopic. You're going to have to learn to deal with it and wade through the complaints and c0ck sucking to find posts of value.

Actually, is there a bet where Mavs will never make it past second round for the next 10 years (or however long Cuban owns the team)?

TBH: I'm surprised the team hasn't just accepted it's fate, they actually looked like they were trying today. I guess, the last 5 (is it five or four) years haven't beaten them down.

Alright Demens, put your $$$ where your mouth is... Mavs WILL NOT make it past round 2 this year, or next year, or the year after that. And I'll be very surprised if they make it past round 1, but I won't put $$$ on it, but I'll put BIG $$ that they won't beat the Lakers in a series.

They could have Lebron, Kobe, Shaq, Rose on Mavs and they won't make it past round 2. Was that bold? Yeah it was, only because it's true.

Mavs are probably the most underrated team in the playoffs, exactly why they covered their spread. Yet the books got away with inflating lines for teams like Chicago and Miami.

first and foremost you have to acknowledge that about 90% of the posters here are degenerate college students. Most of them just got hair on their dik just a couple of years ago. 8% are adult sports fans who like to bet on games but don't know crap about the concept of value. And maybe 2% actually understand the art of handicapping sports.

he's right. So many people were saying the lakers were finished. Then many of the people who said that changed their minds and said theyd win the comp when they went 17-1 after the all star break. Then when they lost 5 straight they were saying theyre finished again and they're old.

They were pretty damn close to winning one 5 years ago, and it wasn't Stern that stopped them. They chocked all on their own.
