who saw that last play in the det/orl game?
so they're up by 7 ..covering the spread.. with about 10 second left..orlando hustles up the court.. the pistons allow some rookie orlando player..to go in for an uncontested lay up.. now up by 5 with 4.5 second left.. instead of fouling ..the magic just let detroit inbound the ball..and run the clock out..so basically with that one very strange play... everyone who bet on the pistons lost. that had to be a set up.

Final 20 seconds took any Orl backer from happy to pissed off back to happy while taking Det backers from happy to pissed off in the last 11 seconds. It was a 1 pt ballgame with 19 seconds left before Rip got 6 consecutive FT's after Det blocked a Turk dunk and then Orl turned the ball over the next possession. To me it looked like Orlando tried to foul once the ball was inbounded after the last layup but didn't get enough of the player for a foul to be called. Would have been a heart breaker for the losing side no matter which side you were on.

I don't really think Orl had any incentive to make that driving lay-up with 4 seconds left. Over coming a 5 pt lead in 4 seconds isn't exactly the most feasible thing.

i saw it , if anything it looked like the magic did not want to cover . magic did foul det with around 2 seconds left and the refs said f that sh man . refs just let the game end because HE (one man) choose to . if the ref wanted pistons - 6 , -6.5 or to push on 7 he would have called the last foul with 2 sec left , but he said f that sh lets go home .

You're looking too deep into this, trying to find something that isn't there. I also think a lot of games are fixed, but all this sounds just normal with 5 secs left.

I have never been one to buy into conspiracy stuff but that was about as close to looking like a fix as I have ever seen. If Orlando wasn't going to try and extend the game why a layup and not just dribble the ball out? Layup there makes one think extend the game but then they stand around like "our job is done".
