Over a month ago, I put 100 dollars on Portland @ 100/1 t6 po win the NBA title.
Being a sensible NBA fan, I dont think its realistic they win it all, but the close we get to playoff time, the more of a sleeper I think they are.
They are arguably the 2nd-3rd best in the west IMO, after LA (who they are pounding, as I type) and maybe OKC. I would favor them over SA, Dal and Den in a playoff series.
Maybe, just maybe they could be this years dark horse team, who will come out of no where to win it all.
I realize they are terrible on the road vs elite teams, but after acquiring Wallace, they seem like a force.
6 Players who avg 12 pts or more, so its a very deep team.
I think they are currently 75/1, so regardless of theyre outcome I like my investment.
