It all depends on what is the strategy for portland's in the playoff as to whether they want to hop up 1 seed or down 1 seed when facing opponents.

With Utah's case, they are now pawns in the industry. You are out of the playoff race and all you can do now is steal wins to sabotage other people's great master plan.

I'm playing Portland and if bet, I rather play a playoff contender and if lose, at least I know I picked a playoff contender to lose. Right about now, I don't have the budget to play funky and hoping for a miracle upset either.
