I kind of like the Jazz with Harris coming back and Port facing LA tomorrow.

Do the jazz really have another upset in them? The spread is set at a number that if I were to take the jazz here, I would take the ML. I like Portland to cover, but it's the NBA so anything is possible.

I think Utah plays well and keeps it close. Portland is really going to fight hard to get that 6th seed to avoid the Lakers in the 1st round. Right now you don't want to be the 7th seed in the west, you'd probably rather be the 6th or the 8th seed.
Close game, I think Utah can cover. I got a 2 team teaser with Jazz at +10.

I'm leaning Utah +5.5....even if Portland does win tonight I don't think it will be by much. Just a lean though, NBA kind of sucks to bet on right now.

I took the +5.5 at -105.
I think theres great value there. The line comes out at PK when i capped it (3 methods). Thats largely due to using Jazz season #s so isn't not accurate, but even after adjusting it a LOT for Blazers current form, i adjusted Jazz to be a .440 team (they are .474 record wise now) and despite their recent struggles i think with Harris playing they are pretty close to it. Even that only gave me -2.5 Blazers. Considering Jazz are home and Blazers have that game vs LA tomorrow i think 5.5 is overkill. Maybe people think Jazz are due for a let down after a big win, but i think with the energy of the home crowd they can keep this one tight. Gong against value with the Bulls but will go with it and take the Jazz.

GL. I am not betting on it, but i'd be surprised to see the blazers win and not cover 5.5. If the blazers don't manage to cover I think they lose SU. FT shooting could determine the Spread option, but this is the same utah team getting 14 just a few days ago. They beat an uninspired laker team, but I wouldn't look too deeply into that win. Blazers want 6th place to avoid the inspired lakers.

I like the Jazz also. They are playing at home and with the return of Devin Harris, they could be great!

I smell an under game.
Portland probably wanna bench their players till the playoff. Plus having Lakers coming up, benching their starters is a smarter idea.
Also a guy on portland is out with a neck injury. Marcus Camby is his name I think.

I know what you are thinking.
Utah right now is like the infamous Cavs. They both lost a bunch like a stringer of losing and then wins 1, a fluke of nature and then back to losing they will go.
Utah is like what? 9 straight lost and then a fluke to win Lakers?
Utah might end up eating the spread but do allow portland to win in a close one or portland will end up losing straight up. Either way, Utah smells good but I'm fading all of yall.
