    My Picks = Winners?
I am a sports fan who loves betting. My bankroll is small. I hate to lose.

I have been on what I consider to be a hot streak over the last 8 months or so. I ended about +30 units over the last 10 weeks of the NFL season which I was beyond pleased with. I then turned my attention to the NBA/NCAAM which I had never tried before.

After realizing I was picking more winners than losers I began picking parlays as the "lottery" aspect really turned me on. I am an obvious amateur(what's lower than amateur? that might be me) because over the last 3 months I had tripled by bankroll(4 6-game parlays, 1 7-game parlay) and then felt I was invincible. I proceeded to increase my parlay bets and lost a third of that gain, now sitting at about +30 units since I started betting basketball in mid-January.

I have been betting poorly, but my % of picks has been solid. I use a combination of methods, usually centering around a mix between personal handicapping and gut feeling/conspiracy theories (scary, I know).

I'll start listing my picks here for remainder of the NBA season, and will see how I stack up. I am using Bodog lines. And now that I am starting to get serious about betting I realize that Bodog's juice is above other sites, but that's where my bankroll is so..

76ers -2 : Having a hard time justifying this pick. The Bucks do not impress at all. I would have handicapped at -4 or so. Normally this is one where I would take the unlikely dog, but not here.

Warriors +5.5 : Love the Mavs on the road. Like them to win. Don't like them to cover against a streaky Warriors team who should be playing loose.

Thunder -5: I have been picking the Clippers to cover for a while now and it has been a mistake. Not much to like about the Clippers, not much reason to pick them. Love a lot about the Thunder, including motivation.

I try to stay away from the big spreads, but my gut for the other two games:

    Timberwolves +14

    Bulls -14.5
