It all balances out in the end. RAS is the only one who can move a line quickly, but...there were many times last season I was opposite them and so that gave me a better number. I don't focus on the closing line, if I like a game at a certain number and it's available I bet it. Plus they don't do a lot of totals like I do, and of course no teasers. RAS is great for the conservative bettor - you should make a few units. But I don't want to eat burger, I want filet mignon!

I despise giving CK credit here, I did not like the guy. But his dating tips thread posted here (where you were a big part off!) shifted the line. I remember it clearly because It frustrated me when I had the same side and didn't get my bet in early enough. It became a race to beat RAS and CK\SEXYMIT before they shifted the lines. Even Justin7 made a comment about it and asked him to delay his picks.

Alas, sometimes it did work out when I was on the other side!

Yes, during that season for sure but nowhere near the kinds of moves that Ed's picks generate. That dating tips thread was wild and we all made a lot of money. But he certainly did not move any lines the last 2 seasons (which I was a part of at TSG), and won't this upcoming season.

Yep I remember that, CK and I were talking about that the other night as a matter of fact. Yes RAS isn't the only one to move lines, we have done Wnba for 2 years and when I put out a play I also saw movement in the direction of the play also.

Well the last couple days i haven't been able to really log into 5dimes so i've been using my sportsbook.com (I know right ) account and they have shitty lines so i've been having to take shitty lines (like on soccer today i had Velez n the over 2.5 because they wouldve give o2) n of course velez won 2-0 n then i have a pretty good capper for totals in basketball and he went 0-4 today but i really liked all the plays n that killed me...Also losing with Craiova...Just all in all been pretty shitty for me

LOL yeah one OT got us and the other saved us. The lines are so sharp in the playoffs, that's why I haven't been putting out much NBA, these sides/totals are all over the place. I'll take 1-1 tonight since it looked like a sure 0-2.

LOL I'm not predicting the final score, I lean Chicago -8.5 but not enough to bet it. I just don't think the Hawks will get a lot of good looks tonight.
