So i am seriously thinking of Suns+ the points. Phoenix needs to win to stay alive for the playoff spot

matchup wise - who will guard Griffin - Frye is a bit slow for him and soft after the injury

also Gordon, not sure how healthy he is?

Gordon is healthy enough for a double digits; 24 + points, carter and Pietrus will get the defensive assignment, Pietrus is probably the better. Both, a bit slower but got height advantage 6.6" vs gordon 's 6.3".

Frye and Marcin will get Blake. I think Marcin will clock more minutes to cover both a 4th and 5th rotation, he got the height, physics and quickness for a good match up.

The suns problem is probably Kaman & his mid range jumper - he can put a 6 to 7 buckets of those = 14 points, it's damn hard to defense.

I think the suns will keep it close, then they'll go to Frye for a 3's in the dying minutes.

Well you should know that the Suns played the Clippers right after they got their new look. While Blake was in, the Clippers were having their way with the Suns. They did managed to foul Blake Griffin out of the game with like 5 minutes to go I think. At the point they were able to make their cut into the double digit lead the Clippers were holding but still end up losing the game. Both Kaman and Vince Carter was out of that game.

Phoenix has gotten a lot better since then and I see this game as being more of a toss up than the one in which the Clipper tanned their hides. I think the line is about right.

LOL! and don't hate on Blake. He still has a lot of skill sets to improve on. If that happens, the Clippers should be pretty good next year.

The Clippers tend to play defense and even when teams beat them or crush them, the total score rarely gets that high.

If the Clippers win, the under will most likely hit.

I would play the under here.

2 recent games for the Clips that can be compared to this one are vs HOT Rockets and vs HOT Nuggets. Clips won both and that was without Gordon (?). Clips would have a better record then the Suns if they were healthy all year, they have a big edge in the paint and are a very strong home team (when healthy), hard to see Suns winning here.
