The short answer is it doesn't matter... Betting the Clipperrs as even -12.5 faves is ridiculous, and even moreso considering the EXACT same thing happened in SAC and the Cavs won the game SU as +9.5 dogs. Win or lose, anyone playing this game is making a bad wager...
