Will they defeat the Spurs? I bought 2 contracts on NO in a live betting market at WSEX to win the Western Conference at +1667... Debating if I should sell off one contract now, and sell the other IF they beat the Spurs. Can they make it to the Western Conference finals or will San Antonio be too much for them?

New Orleans smashed San An in 2 of the last 3 and lost by 9 @ san an in a game where the spurs went 17/17 from the line. I like the matchup for New Orleans, but the Spurs are certainly tough to bet against at this stage. With game 1 in new orleans, i would hold out for a new orleans win and then sell at a better price with new orleans up 1-0 if thats your inclination.

i think that's a pretty solid idea... i might do something like selling a 0.5 contract if they win game 1, and if they win game 2 possibly another 0.5... and then hold out with my final contract to see if they beat the spurs, either way it won't be a loss, just the battle of maximizing the profit.

Spurs for sure. I'm not sure what the Hornets will do when they run up against an actual defense - unlike the Mavs who were pathetic in every aspect of that series. Manu Ginobili is the X factor and why I think the Spurs win. He can defend, but I don't think Peja can stop him. West/Duncan, Paul/Parker will cancel each other out or the Spurs get the advantage.

Not to mention humongous playoff experience edge. Hornets will get schooled.

New Orleans is the better team. They would probably have beaten the Suns. The Spurs are a different story. How could any young team be prepared for the dirty tricks that the Spurs are about to throw at them?
