Miami's a wounded animal. I know they were in recent losses at home too, but I think they come out fighting and shock everybody. This is still a good team, even if it may be a shell of the one that kicked the living shit out of the Lakers in LA on Christmas Day.
If the Heat can somehow get Bynum and/or Gasol into foul trouble, I think they have a chance. What can I say -- I like disrespected home dogs. Lakers are in a zone right now, but I'm going to take a chance and roll the dice here.

I also think now is the time to get them at 2.5 -- my guess is it'll be back to 1.5 or even 1 by tip. If I can somehow squeeze a 3, this becomes a bigger play.

I have a bet on LA PK. In the last few hours I have had some reservations about LA winning tommorow. I was so sure about LA, but if I feel the same tommorow I will buy out of LA and take Heat +2 or better hopefully. Maybe set up a middle, who knows.

We'll see, lyon. I'm not sure if I'm going to play this -- guess it depends on how CBB goes during the daytime hours.
The Lakers are undoubtedly the right call in theory.

Something tells me the Laker big men will somehow get into heavy foul trouble tomorrow.

lots of wounded animals, pacers, pistons, no big deal losing in nba, you can lose some more, no guarantees.

lyon you have to admit there is a strong case for mia. i madesome valid points about gasol's defense against face up pfs earlier. bosh might be a factor for a change. Lebron and Wade always do their thing against Big Brother Bryant and the miller and bibby/jones hit a 2 threes each thats all they need out of those scrubs. theyre not going to keep missing open shots

Remember this?
Forget all the other games Miami lost how do these 2 match up? Wade and Lebron were forced into a lot of tough shots vs Portland and the rest of the team was totally shut down. The Lakers are in awesome form but this isn't Atlanta, Bosh shined against them last time they met, any team Bosh shines against is bad for... that team.

Heat win tomorrow. Back on track. Lakers playing out of there mind lately, Gasol even hitting 3's
LeBum, and "I'm so hurt Wade" will get the W for the over rated going no where in the playoff Miami Heat

The only way and I mean the ONLY way the Heat win this game, as NoCoin said, is if they get Gasol and Bynum in foul trouble and off the court. Other wise the Lakers big men are going to have a field day with......
Wait NVM, Bosh doesn't count

The Heat-are-angry-so-they-will-win argument has been failing for 10 days now. I expect it to fail one more time.

It'll be interesting to see if they get Bosh touches in the paint and if he actually does some dirty work tonight the way he seems to want to. Something tells me that this complaining from him will lead to something for a change and he actually steps up tonight.

The tendency is to assume trends will continue -- that the Heat have been horrible lately and will continue to be and the Lakers have been world beaters lately and will continue to be. Same dangerous line of thinking went into place during Miami's huge win streak, and when the Lakers were struggling.
Every game needs to be judged on its own individual merit as an isolated incident. Yes, there is a mental aspect to how both teams are playing right now, but I think that is somewhat overrated when it comes to incredibly talented players who are angry and motivated. I hate Miami more than anyone, but I think they stay within a single possession or even win outright tonight.

only problem with this logic is, lakers struggled cause they didn't see a challenge or care to play(believe it or not). totally different from a team that is exposed when playing against seeded teams, bashing noobs isn't much of an accomplishment.
