Par for the course. I've never seen a player with less experience get more star treatment than he does -- and I like him a lot (when he's not destroying my bets).

the guy is a top 5 player in the nba. its only natural superstars like bryant wade lebron and durant get these kinds of calls. Rose is not in that discussion yet thats why he does not get to the free throw line much

bryant's quote about durant: "He'll go down as the best scorer thats ever played the game when its all said and done"

Well its not Durant who destroyed the bet. It's Sixers having 3 clean posessions to close the game and not making a single shot. Then not guarding Durant on his 3, you cannot give him an open look like that. And then dont forget about Iguodala with his off. foul on the last posession

This isn't the first time the Sixers have gagged late at home (and I seem to be on them every time they do it).

I was at the game. There was one phantom call when durant lost control of the ball and they called a foul on lou williams. Other than that, gotta give the guy credit. He hit a hell of a shot to tie the game.

How can Rose not be in the discussion yet? That's just plain wrong. Not only is he the only player in the top ten of points and assists, but he's the current favorite to with the LEAGUE MVP!

Rose doesn't get the calls because he is so strong that he just absorbs and runs right through contact. His amazing body control makes it seem as though no contact was made because it does not affect his shot. Additionally, such body control allows him to avoid a lot of contact. Finally, I think being young and quiet, down to earth guy hurts him with the refs. Unfortunately, in this day and age of the NBA, all the whiners and complainers get the calls and the quiet, strong guys don't. Seemingly, because they don't complain enough.

I just think you are really underestimating Rose. He is a dominant player...and if he wins the MVP, a for sure top 5 player.
