#38Becoming a successful capper means (amongst a host of other things) thinking outside of the box, making bold moves with confidence, and not depending on the same teet as everyone else. Greek's that baby mammal that sidles up to the (seemingly) ugliest, crustiest teet (it may even be swingin' awfully close to the ass crack of that mother) and somehow sucks out twice the nutrients of his sibs. His 20* Minny play is a prime example. That is THE GOODS.
Gotta say, i love the manner in which greek posts his card for the day. Keeps his threads nice and clean (for the most part) by not attracting jackassed blind-tailers and haters that want to scrutinize shit that is way over their head, or just slob someone's knob so that they can be cool by association. Most people that go through with taking the time to keep and track records on their threads do it out of an urge to prove themselves to others, to satiate some attention needs, or for "social-life simulation" (MOST). Greek obviously does this for none of those reasons, which says a lot to me. I'm not gonna sift through 45 posts over 3 pages to see 1 or 2 "LOCK" picks on games that are generally involving big "public-betting" teams. I'll give this shit up if I ever find myself doing that. WTF is the point? "Cappin'-by-number" is not a hobby i'm interested in. "THIS is where you put the pick... OK?!" pfffff....
So, anyways... long as you're givin' the goods, i'm takin em'. Keep it up, boss.
disclaimer - I'm not talking about tailing him, you terds. I'm talking about considering the thoughts of a fellow capper that has gained my respect. If a capper like Greek affects my decision on a play at all, it is generally gonna be either to turn a play into a no-play, or maybe to put a little more consideration into a play that didn't really pop out at me at first.Comment
