After getting burned yet again and thinking . Cursing to my buddy and forcing myself to hold off dropping more on a chase he explains this to me:

Buddy: Of course the NBA is rigged.
Me: What are you talking about, and why would you just accept this?

Buddy: Because thats the only way the NBA would exist, without it being fixed these guys would be in the MLB, NFL or just doing something else.

Buddy: Imagine if the favourite won every match and underdogs never won. How boring would the league be? It is already arguably third biggest in the US...the lakers go 75-7 and the Wizards go 10-62 whats the point?

Me: How about they just make the teams more even

Buddy: Bro Americans hate "socialism" but still American sports are the best example of it right under their noses. Look at Soccer, you can count on one hand the number of teams that have won each different league and tournament and cup on one hand. Do you want to see the Yankees, Lakers, and Blackhawks winning every title just because they have more money and bigger fanbases?

Nba is rigged it's been proven in my opinion. Refs have been busted. Lakers should take this tonight but rig will be in full effect Miami by more than 10 thanks to rig theory........Gl to your plays.....

I don't understand this thread. You say that NBA is rigged, then throw out some picks. You don't say how/why it's rigged, or why the picks you made mean its rigged.

I do have a really bad feeling that Miami is going to win this one. What a storyline that would be, eh? Heat can't beat elite teams from the east, but can dominate the Lakers. Though if this was the case we probably would have seen a Lebron/Kobe final years ago.
