I honestly can't believe I made this play...took game 1 into account too much with the sucker line. Here is what I wrote in the parlay contest:

511 Philadelphia 76ers/Detroit Pistons Over 178 Call me crazy...every meaningful game between these 2 has went under this total (1 exception was at the end of the season when Det rested players)...Pistons scored 35 points in the 2H of last game and gave up a big lead. The Pistons have revenge on their mind and I look for them to gain the advantage by playing up and down ball.

Totally goes against playing on the Sixers.

Yeah just a little irritated with myself making mistakes that I shouldn't make the last couple of days. Here is what I have on the Nugget game for the parlay of the day.

516 Denver Nuggets/Los Angeles Lakers Under 229 I hate taking under in any game between these 2 especially considering the last game but I don't think that happens again...Karl is trying to pound defense into his teams head. Even if they play a little defense to limit some of the easy shots this game goes under.

Just a feeling that Karl might have gotten into their heads and prepared to limit Gasol.

I'm thinking Nuggets will play a lot more zone, and that is something the Lakers have struggled with. Martin will guard Kobe again, but the Nuggets will have Kleiza, Melo, and Camby down low, which is better than having Anthony Carter paired with Iverson up top.

Yeah I agree...that will be the best case scenario if they have actually studied the Lakers. They could be a great team if Karl can get them to actually play defense...we all know that Camby can be one hell of a defensive player down low.

i guess the point you are making is .. you should pick one solid view on how the game will go, then make all the various bets fall in line with it .. so you know what side you are on, so to speak... am i understanding? if so then 2nd half bets gotta also fall in line with the original view on the game ?? something like that/??

No I bet usually bet 2nd half based stats from the 1st...IE the shooting % of both teams in the 1st.
In my write-up I said that I thought the Pistons would run up and down the court with revenge on their mind and that would give them the edge...that was the reason I was frustrated that I picked the Sixers for the game.

i understand now.. youre analasis for the game was for detroit to rock shit and have an edge but you put your money on the opposite...how does that happen?

i had the sixers +10 cause i thought they keep at least close .. but i got saved today by that .5 a point.. cause i put more on the second half bet then the original +10 for the game..
