Keeping a close eye on LAC half time.

SA only 3-7 ATS without rest, and not very good as a fav or less than 5: 4-7 ATS (not counting dogs). As a fav of less than 5 pts on no rest, SA is 1-5 ATS.

Would be all over Clippers if they had been playing better, but with their recent slump I prefer to wait for 2H.

The Golden State Warriors have gone from the doghouse to favorites since opening as a pick’em for tonight’s contest with the Atlanta Hawks.

Early betting favored the Hawks, who rose to as high as –1 ½. But late action has flip-flopped that number and made the Warriors 1 ½-point road favorites.

“There are no new injuries listed for this game, so it’s all been sharp money,” says Sebastian Chalmers of Bodog.com. “We had a couple early sharp bets on Atlanta, but since then all the sharp money has been on Golden State.”

The move likely has to do with the playing status of Baron Davis. The Warriors point guard returned from injury on Sunday against Minnesota, but was admittedly ineffective.

The Contra Costa Times reported this morning that Davis may get fewer minutes because of a nagging ankle injury, which may have caused the initial line move. But Covers Expert Bryan Leonard feels that the most recent adjustment indicates the wise guys believe he’ll play his share of minutes.
