      seen it, thank.

      I like
      Utah at Houston
Play Houston -3.5 at the half

In the last 3 games at home, they led average 7-9 points by the half. Included last one against Boston. I think it will be all the same, they will come out with full energy.

Hi there Law, you're a one positive man, I am still piss wit 2 games was tossed, i didn't lose any money on it but just still hate to lose.

NJ@Was - the nets was on track in the half, i went to sleep & woke up & like What? but their energy guy-Farma was out at the same time, thing completely turned around for the Wizards in the 2nd half.

                Sac@Minn - K. Love was out earlier.

Anyway, Memphis -5.5, should cover at home, cause Mem is 8th in the west while these guys are lurking behind for their spot: Houston, Phoenix, and Utah. Will be business as usual for them, a good physical match up in the middle

No play for me SAS -8.5 & CHI -12: why?

spurs -8.5 can be a problem as they have locked up a playoff spot already, they will rest their key players, will play them minimal minutes to keep conditioning, this would mean the third unit will get the minutes, they are
Chris Quinn, Steve Novak, Gary Neal, Matt Bonner. I like the shooting of Gary Neal & Matt Bonner can bring.

GSW will go with their usual line up Ellis, Curry, Lee, Dorell Wright; these guys can go off with their streak shooting. In short, a good line would be Spurs -3.5 to -5, it just too unpredictable here.

Chicago -12, the Booker put a tough decision out & they are quiet good at it. The Bulls will come out & play with same intensity even they got a playoff spot two months ago or not. Their starters are likely to put the same effort again and again, its all a habit for them. But the question is more with the Kings, how crazy are they ?. Chi -10 probably just ok.

Line play is getting harder now,
consider play with half time line, a good spot is looked for a team with quick & solid leadership at point guards to push the ball in a must win game - example, yesterday the Rockets & the suns.

you have to go with your feel and instinct sometime, which is fine.

my pick is only one for now:

                    Toronto at Denver
                    play total under 214.5

and NHL play as posted above,
                    have fun and goodluck.

                      add

                      Indiana at New Jersey
The Nets is a dangerous team at home with or without D. Will. Lopez & Hamphries are solid in the glass, both combined a 20 points-20 rebounds workhorse. It's common to see this team come out slow at the start and their guards off the bench will rally late the 2nd half to narrow the margin and try to close it out.

The Pacers will look to their guards push the ball earlier, aggressive attack to build the margin and take the lead.

                      Play Ind -1.5 in the half. ATS (60-53) - NBA (38-31) NHL(22-22)

                      Sacramento at Chicago
Boozer will return, the Bulls gets extra help with the boards. As usual we can expect a solid effort defensively by the Bulls, even though a playoff is secured, they will force a few miss shots & run half court play and control the tempo. The Kings will have an excellent match up effort in the post with Thompson, Dalembert and Cousins. Their guards will miss a few outside shots as the Bulls will give them no space and limited look at the basket.

                      Play total under 196.5 ATS (60-54) - NBA (38-32) NHL(22-22)

Hey, I am with you Detroit and the under tonight.

What are your thoughts on the Celtics and the over? I am thinking of doing Celtics to win(-130) parlayed with the over. I like the Celtics to win and no need to give up the points for the juice in a parlay is my thinking.

well my projection is 110+102> 197.5 therefore over.
But these 2 teams are unpredictable of late; you just never know & hard to get a feel of it. Playoff wise, Boston in the driver seat. If the game off to a bad start they will toss it just like that, example at Houston's game, Doc River said exactly that "our guys got no energy, **** it, i'm not gonna risk it", play enough just to keep on conditioning & routines.

NKY also might know this & come out solid, they might end up with a win and then what's his name Melo turns this into a statement game circus like at Miami, will say "well we had enough, this is a statement game for us, man we can play, ain't nobody mess with us".

I agree the Nicks will be motivated, but I think the Celtics will be as well. They have dropped some games recently and in the fight for the top seed in the East there won't be that much margin for error, so they will come in feeling they need this game and will need to come out strong to get it.

Just got the news, Matt Cooke out for the game and the rest of the season, kind of new he was going to be out tonight.

                                    Good stuff, good stuff!

Is this a computer program? Whatever it is, I love it. Hope you post every day.

I use your numbers initially, then I think about recent trends I've observed; like who is on fire (Nuggets), who is motivated (Heat, Lakers, Pacers), who are sloppy (Knicks, Celtics). I shuffle and blend all the info into my brain.... voila! I made my pics.

Your numbers may not be close but it's still a great tool to predict who is going to win, who is going to win big, who is going over/under. It may not be precise, but it's accurate.

Cheers! Keep up the good work.

                                      Hi there Avenger,

that computer program is spread sheet as you can tell with a cut & paste with nos on the right, the other is mostly human which is me; gather various intel sources from Hollinger's stat ESPN to , http://www.hoopsstats.com
http://www.nbastuffer.com/ - some good info for coaches & GM materials if interested.

you're right "numbers may not be close but it's still a great tool to predict, It may not be precise, but it's accurate", that's what i give to people everyday, and you would know if I am right 100%, i wouldn't mind becoming rich, don't mind to own an NBA team just for the love of it, any team !!! even Cleavland or the Lakers. you all invited to work for the team for sure.

can forget the Lakers, the queue is too long....

at the start of this post, also i had commented on method & how hint as well. till next time.

                                        Phoenix at LA Lakers

Coming to this game, the vintage suns will face a 13% discount of Lakers.
No, not the court-side seat's price tag. I am talking about Bynum's suspension. The Lakers is the one team would appreciate the higher level of basketball that the Phoenix suns can play this time of the year. In reflection of last year's western conference final match up. The Suns held LA's to average 41.8% shooting through out the series. It was game 6, Artest's unexpected basket in the dying sec earned LA a trip to the final, but that game had cost me big time dole, as I vividly sobered.

This game is important to both teams; from a one as a litmus test for a playoff ready, and the other is a must win to secure a tight playoff spot, so the respective stake is good enough for both to play defense to force some bad shots and a buck must be earned when key situation is call-for. Therefore, I have no i, no deer of what to pick.

                                        Phoenix:
Over is 9-2 in PHO last 11 Tue. games.

                                        L.A. Lakers:
Under is 6-2 in LAL last 8 vs. NBA Pacific.
LAL are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 home games.
Under is 7-3 in LAL last 10 Tue. games.

                                        Head to Head:
Over is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles.

                                        But in the last 10, Over/Under: LA(2-8) & Suns(3-7), also Suns' O/U last 7 (0-7).
                                        So, fire in da hole.

                                        Play total under 199.5 ATS (62-53) - NBA (40-31) NHL(22-22)

Da Bulls at the land of living dead, another important game to both teams, from one as a litmus test for a playoff ready and fine tuning. Plus a little revenge factor for the Bulls. It will be a physical match up in the post. The Hawks is a tough to beat at home, but expect the Bulls to challenge the Hawks' shooters off the screen and will force them to take some bad shots. Atlanta will go to inside with Josh Smith, he'll get a few buckets and 3 points play, Johnson & Crawford = 35 points.

The team that control the glass and execute plays down the stretch will walk away winner; in this case the Bulls will pound ball inside to Noah or go for offensive board. Design outside 3's setup plays run off the pick screen for either Korver or Rose to knock it down in closing sec, maintain good possession. The rest will be foul shots to slow the clock.

CHI are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 Tue. games.

                                        Play Bulls -4 ATS (60-50) - NBA (38-30) NHL(22-20)
                                        Play total over 180.5 ATS (61-50) - NBA (39-30) NHL(22-20)
