What statement would that be? Lakers arent in no position to have these mean anything to the Spurs. I think everyone knows it will take a miracle for the Lakers to make the playoffs.

Spurs are getting playoff ready....the usually sleep walk the first 3rd of the season..this year they snoozed through the whole first half...don't think they are trying to send any messages...just playing the way the need to win another championship.

Lakers will not make the playoffs. Sac Kings are way better than
the Lakers. Houston will be ahead of the Lakers probably also.

I know they would match up if the playoffs started today, but they dont. Lakers wont get that 8th spot. So I dont see no statement in this game , just that the Lakers suck.

I'm sure SA took notice of Lakers routing Pistons and didn't want that to happen to them but Spurs always get up for Lakers anyway.
