Too many Heat threads, who cares. Lets give the Magix some props. This game was further proof imo that they made a big mistake making that trade of theirs. The fact that they are extremely short on big and are clearly missing Gortat has been talked about enough, but they traded another decent back-up that got no attention at all in Mikel Pietrus. They thought they had enough guys taking bad 3s in Redick, Hedo and JRich. The problem is that none of them play any defense. And Pietrus when healthy is an excellent defender and he proved it already in the play-offs matching up against Lebron before.
Why am i talking about it. Well because one of the biggest reasons the Magic made their come back was a guy that has gotten no playing at all all year. Yeah the hot and sexy 3 point shooting was great, but what turned this game was defense and he was a HUGE part of it. Individual stats wont show it, but Hedo getting his 5th foul and QRich coming in was the best thing that could have happened to them.
So props to QRich for playing a great game today, and the other night vs NY guarding Melo as well being a part of another Magic comeback. Props to the guy for being an absolute pro, coming into the season thinking he was the starting SF to being demoted to a guy that isn't even in the rotation is not easy to take, most nba players would throw a hissy fit if that happened to them and would be a complete cancer in the locker room. So again, kudos QRich.
