Can Knicks win without a Point Guard vs Hornet?

I don't see it happening. Chauncey Billups was huge in both the Knicks wins since the big transaction. Neither Stoudamire or Melo knows how to run a team. No way they can beat a complete team like New Orleans that is probably going to bring their A game to Madison square garden.

In the 80's right now. The public is simply over looking at the Hornet road woes, making the Knicks an easy pick. New Orleans is a playoff team and they have the talent to compete against anyone. The good NBA teams always show their best stuff when playing in New York or LA.

If Billups somehow plays, then it completely changes everything. AC Carter is garbage, and I just see the big two setting each other up and forgetting about the rest of team. The rest of the Knicks team is a garbage also. I never see a team missed so many wide open shots. Sean Williams is like the only other guy that can kind of shoot.

Chris Paul hasn't been playing well lately, but I think he will bounce back with a big game tonite in the Garden, where he always plays well. I'm leaning towards NO with the pts. and the ML.

He's not consistent enough to be starter material, but def quality enough to fill in for a game or 2 and be effective.
