"At last, the New York Knicks are back!!! We beat Miami, no one can stop us!!!!!" -some Knick fan(Spike Lee maybe?)

Give it a rest!
I'd admit the MIAMI win was big, but after comming back yesterday to LOSE in Orlando, i believe is a tough blow to the whole team! I think losing to the Cavs
gave them them that extra chip on their shoulder to go into MIA and would not take an L, no if's and's or but's....like "ARE U KIDDING ME, THE CAVS? WTF WERE WE DOING!?"
Now after comming back to actaully lose to the Magic, who were lead by Superman aka d12 aka D.Howard, the Knicks still 'miraculously' covered the spread by 1 pt after a dunk from Amare literally seconds b4 the game ends.
Bottom line is, Knicks haven't impressed me yet, or the books neither for a matter of fact.
The Knicks, a stronger home team as u will, are only laying 2.5 against N.O who is 14-18 on the road, who's loses in the L10 on the road include: TOR,PORT,GS AND NJ! Favored in 2 and getting pts in the other but did not cover either match-up!
Onto the player - player match ups:
Ariza - Melo(we obviously know who the better player is here, but u will be suprised on how good Ariza is on D w/ the long reach of his, i think he limits Melo to 25 or less)
D. West - Jeffries/S. Williams?(no need for a breakdown here D. West is playing some of his best basketball right now)
Okafor - Amare(once again we know who is the better player here, Okafor not much of a scorer but should match up well on D, Amare #5 in blocks, Okafor @ 10, should be a battle down low, limiting Amare's dunks would be key for NO.)
Willie Green - Landy Fields(not much to say here, this match up is a wash)
CP3 - Tony Douglas/Anthony Carter/a banged up Chauncey??(doubtful) -(no matter who he is against 2night i expect CP3 to 100% have a big game, #1 in steals,#4 in assists, #11th in double-doubles, #15 in player effecency,ect.)
And as far as bench NY kissed that goodbye w/ the trade, but we already know NO has a top 5 bench.
Onto the refs:
Steve Javi: 1-5 Against the Spread for the Home Team Fav. of 0-4.5/Which evens out he is 3-7 for Hornets games and 5-5 for Knicks. EDGE: N.Orleans
Mark Lindsay: 8-6 for the home fav.BUT: 8-2 for N.O games and 2-8 for KNICK GAMES. EDGE: N. Orleans
Gary Zielinski: 5-4 for home fav. 6-4 for NO. 6-4 FOR NY. NO real edge here, slightly NY.
I expect N.O to get some revenge from that home loss in Dec.
Quick Trend: Road team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings.
...another lil note somewhere i read that a team who is down in the 1Q comming back to lose the game and is favored the next game will not cover 70%.(can't remember where i saw it)
N.O Hornets +3 for me
