Oklahoma City Thunder -7 vs Indiana Pacers

Anybody else like this? Pacers traveling from home on a B2B against OKC who has lost 3 straight (all 3 to elite teams SA/ORL/LAL). OKC will be hungry for a win against a tired Pacers squad. Thunder are 20-9 at home while Pacers are 10-18 on the road. 7 points is a lot but this one is going to get ugly. Lay the chalk, and take OKC -7.

Honestly, the travel factor doesn't play into capping that much They are prof athletes and are in great shape..back to back doesn't enter into outcomes imo

The things wrong with this statement:
1) Its the middle of the night. Talk about public betting percentages within 2-3 hours of tipoff and you might have something meaningful.
2) The large majority of "the betting public" hasn't bet yet because (again), its the middle of the night in North America. Sports Insights is reporting 74% of 249 bets being on the Thunder... So what? I don't mind being in that group of bettors that take the line early at -7 instead of during the day tomorrow at -7.5 or -8.

Public betting percentages are referenced far too often as primary reasoning for/against plays.

Pacer only lost to OKC by 4 points in their last game. Adding the revenge factor into it, pacer is still hungry for blood but then again, it might not be a revenge game since they first played way way at the beginning of the season and with due time, all is forgiven or forgotten with revenge mentality by Pacers.

Pacers just won their first game after a drought. Pacer is on a 1 game winning streak. As of late, when they win, they tend to win a back to back win. In 2010, when they win, they end up losing the next game. So for 2011, this is a different pacer team. They are taking their time and pacing themselves to the road to a playoff spot. Pacer is an above .500 team and giving more than 7 points to an above .500 team is asking for them to keep the game close.

Pacer's last 16 games, they are 10-6 SU. Can't blame them for their 6 lost though.

You can say this about every game, this is gambling. If you are going to risk your hard earned money why not take a team which can win??
I dont think Pacers really feel confident coming into this game, OKC's home and they are going to put on a show for their fans. Pacers will be glad to just get this game off the schedule. OKC-7.5

OKC will likely win, but covering 7-7.5 is gonna be a problem for them IMO, their defense is weak and i can pacers keeping up with them. Might come down to the wire.

Line up to 8. This would normally be a no play for me even with Indy coming off a b2b, but again, OKC has lost THREE straight games. They will come out with full effort against a team that normally plays like absolute crap on the road.

This will be Indiana's 5 game in 7 days.. On the road now, they are a mediocre team. Fatigue will be a factor regardless of their professionaility. OKC very rested . In OKC this game will get ugly . Durant is IMO the best out there , except for Kobe. Plus westbrook and gang ... Durant is due for a huge huge game . Indiana will be in for a hard hard time tonight take OKC -8.
