Love the spurs at +2, grizzlies have beat a few good teams at home this year and Spurs are missing a main guy but you have to take the spurs at +2 if your going to play this.

ginobli is just getting started, now he gets a chance to shine, he's been passing the ball and people been fukking up so he had to take over the other day, now there's no reason he is not free to go off on people tomorrow

if gay is out, then that should cancel out parker being out, plus George Hill is not a bad replacement.

This is like in college when a ranked team goes on the road, versus an unranked team, and is the underdog.

Take the home team. Grizzlies -1.5

Just because that would be the sharp thing to do?

+2 on the road is like -4 at home... after that 7 point loss against the Spurs in SA, Grizzlies will want to take revenge at home (that plus Parker out), so the +2 doesn't seem all that outrageous to me that I would necessarily call it a trap...

What was the spread @ SA?

The Grizzilies definitely has a good chance of winning this game even if Parked wasn't injured.

Beside Parker's out, look at their home record here
                                      Spurs (49-10, 21-8 away) vs Grizzlies(33-28, 20-8 home).
Gasol and Zibo clog in the middle & look to control the glass, they got 2 excellent wing defenders - Allen & Battier.
having said that I think Spurs still can Win.

i like memphis here. Spurs have struggled vs them at home winning at the end and in the previous meeting won in o.t.

The absence of Parker will not feel so much. It is always like that in the beginning when a team is missing one of the best or best player. Look at Thunder this season when they were without Durant. First game away at Boston and they won without KD. Denver without Carmelo, they are playing well and i still do not see problem for Nuggets playing without him. Even Cleveland without James, opened season with decent 4-3 and 5-5, but then everything changes.
So, my point here is, it will not be problem for Spurs tonight, but if Tony indeed would be 4 weeks absent, than Spurs will be in problem later.

+2 on the road is like -4 at home... after that 7 point loss against the Spurs in SA, Grizzlies will want to take revenge at home (that plus Parker out), so the +2 doesn't seem all that outrageous to me that I would necessarily call it a trap...

What was the spread @ SA?
                                                      Spurs -8.5

even with Parker out tough to go against the Spurs here.
